IDEA Conference Materials

Obtain IDEA Conference Material:
We are glad to say you can obtain IDEA Conference material by making a donation to the IDEA Center. See below for further details!

  • Proceedings: REDUCED to $14.00 + $3.50 (S&H)
    • The "Proceedings" may not be your "typical" proceedings from a conference. The Proceedings consists of about 175 pages which contain the papers/presentations from all of the talks (both plenary and concurrent), along with additional material. However, some of these sections are just slide presentations used by the speakers while others are actual papers written for the talks given at the conference. The binding is just a simple plastic comb binding, with a clear plastic front cover, and black back cover. The material is definitely great, but may not be in the typical format of a conference proceedings. You can see a few sample pages (PDF format, 240 kb) of the Proceedings to get an idea of its contents and format.
  • Audio Tapes: $3.00 ea. + $2.50 (S&H for up to 4 tapes; $2.00 for additional tapes [$4.50 S&H total], up to 9 total) (S&H)
    • Tapes can be ordered individually for each speaker, or you can order the complete set at a discount, $20.00 (+4.50 S&H). If you are ordering individual sessions, please specify which session you're interested in [e.g. Nelson - plenary, or Nelson - concurrent, or Behe - plenary] - see the conference schedule for a list of topics and speakers. We're sorry to report that the concurrent tapes for John Bracht, Cornelius Hunter, and Casey Luskin did not come out as expected.
  • Video Tapes: $16.00 + $3.50 (S&H) (includes all plenary sessions & Nelson's concurrent as well).
    • While we do not have individual videos available for each speaker, we are happy to report that all plenary talks at the conference have been combined on to one single tape. This is truly the best deal of conference materials, as you can receive the video from talks including: Richards, Nelson, Peltzer, Chien, and Behe.

    A Note on Quality:
We should note that the quality of the audio and video tapes is not fantastic. You can definitely understand what is being said in either, but the camera control is not stellar, there is no computerized version of the presentation slides on the video, and the audio tapes in rare instances are a bit muffled.

    Where to send your donation:
Please send a check made payable to "IDEA Center" along with a note describing what you're interested in (we hope to have an order form up soon) to the following address:
    IDEA Center
    P.O. Box 30066
    Seattle, WA 98113

Thanks for your interest and donation to the IDEA Center!

If you have any immediate questions about the conference, please feel free to e-mail us at "conference@ideacenter.org".
